This evening, London based fashion house self-portrait celebrated fashion, music and creativity during their Summer Party, marking the third time the brand have hosted their annual event.
The event was held for the first time at The Roof Gardens in London, a venue steeped in history, where fashion and music legends have left their mark.
DJ and Producer Benji B curated the soundscape for the night which included a stellar DJ lineup featuring Seth Troxler, Lou Hayter, Jordds, and Benji B himself.
Han Chong, self-portrait Founder and Creative Director said:
“Celebrating with our friends and communities has always brought us a lot of joy – it’s a chance to collectively honour what makes London so special and allows us to bring together all of the people that mean so much to us. Every year we try to evolve our Summer Party to capture the spirit of the moment – and tonight was a testament to why we started self-portrait in the first place; our aim being to make people feel relaxed, and like the best versions of themselves, and above all else, to have fun!”
Self-Portrait welcomed an eclectic mix of guests—from models to actors to musicians—into the venue’s Spanish Gardens and Sun Pavilion, where guests danced until the early hours.
Don Julio 1942 cocktails were served including a classic Paloma made with Don Julio Reposado, a Tommy’s Margarita made with Don Julio Blanco, 42 Apples made with Don Julio 1942.

Born in Penang, Malaysia, Han Chong studied Fashion Design at Central Saint Martins in London. Fuelled by his own training at Central Saint Martins, Han is committed to supporting the next generation of creative talent and in 2018, established a five-year scholarship program with Central Saint Martins offering financial backing for five students to complete their MA degree as well as offering mentorship on navigating the realities of operating a fashion business.
In December 2021, Han Chong announced the establishment of SP Collection, a holding company aimed at discovering, nurturing, and developing best in class creativity and design. As part of this expansion, SP Collection acquired the luxury brand Roland Mouret, and showed the first collection in Summer 2022.
