Michael Jackson: The Musical.

If there are words to describe this production, it’s simply explosive. From the moment I sat down to the end of the show, I was on the edge of my seat, tapping my toes and shimmying my shoulders.

Without giving too much away, the musical takes place in the mid-90s as Michael Jackson is preparing for his Dangerous tour and MTV wishes to film behind the scenes. As you go through the story and he picks his music set for the tour, we get flashbacks through time with each hit he picks – from his time with the Jackson 5, going solo, then the Jackson, Thriller, and much more packed in about his life and tabloid dramas.

We see a young Michael and his relationship with his family, work, career, and then the shy adolescent Michael and his struggles growing into a man and making it on his own. The lead Michael tells the story through out all this, you will be captivated into this story. Even if you’re not a Michael Jackson fan, trust me you will be after this.

I cannot give this more praise. The dancers were absolutely fantastic, the costumes were spot on,  the lighting, the set, and the music, of course,  was sensational. Michael Jackson says in the story that his audience must not get bored and nothing must break their attention from the show, well this jukebox musical did exactly that.
